Traditions at Chevy Chase Wheeling

Experience 18 holes of championship golf at Traditions at Chevy Chase Country Club. The Traditions golf course was originally designed and built in 1923 by renowned architect Thomas Bendelow and then renovated in 2002 by Bob Lohmann. The par-72 golf course is reflective of the architecture from the origin of the game of golf.

Deep pot bunkers lined with native fescue grasses, generous rolling greens and undulating bent grass fairways are some of the great features for our guests to experience. Four sets of tees provide a challenge for players of all skill levels. The mature tree lined fairways offer a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all.

Let our guest service teams take you back to the era of the course's original opening, the 1920's. Back to a time when respect and relationships were important. Traditions at Chevy Chase is sure to be a golfers delight with its concierge-style services provided by a courteous professional team.

At Traditions at Chevy Chase our golf carts are fully equipped with the latest GPS technology. Not only do the carts carry your clubs but will assist you in providing yardage to the pin and to key locations.
