Golf enthusiasts will love the Den at Fox Creek in Bloomington, a 6,926-yard par-72, four-star Arnold Palmer Signature-Designed Course that features bent grass tees, greens and fairways.
Located just a short drive from the Den are Bloomington's Highland Park Golf Course, an equally testing 5,725- yard par 70, and the 6,745-yard par-72 Prairie Vista Golf Course, one of the most challenging in the Midwest. Highland Park and Prairie Vista have received three and four-star ratings, respectively, from Golf Digest Places to Play.
Ironwood Golf Course in Normal is a championship course that includes four water hazards and four sets of tees that range from 5,580 to 6,960-yards. It recently received a three and half-star rating from Golf Digest.
Illinois State University Golf Course in Normal, a 6,730-yard par 71 course, has hosted numerous IHSA Regional, Sectional and State Championships as well as NCAA Regional Championships and offers a variety of tees for every skill level.
The Links at Ireland Grove is Bloomington's newest public golf facility and first executive course. This nine-hole course can be played from multiple tees to accommodate every level of golfer, from novice to the most experienced.
