Spirit Airlines to Offer Direct Flights Between Myrtle Beach and Chicago

Spirit AirlinesMYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Spirit Airlines recently announced plans to start daily service between Myrtle Beach and Chicago, beginning March 1, 2009. With the addition of the Spirit connection to Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Myrtle Beach International Airport now offers direct flights to 15 cities in the United States.

During the March 1, 2009 - April 30, 2009 time frame, Spirit's daily Chicago (ORD) to Myrtle Beach (MYR) and Myrtle Beach to Chicago, the flight schedule will be as follows:

The new service will be flown on Spirit's young fleet of Airbus A319s, which can accommodate up to 145 passengers. Flights can be booked via www.spiritair.com or by calling 1-800-72-7117.
