OAK FOREST, IL - Cook County Forest Preserve Golf ("FPG") and Billy Casper Golf ("BCG") announce reduced greens fees and other promotional prices on apparel and equipment next week (through Nov 2) at the 10-course system - capping another year of enhnced playing experiences for the community through value-rich golf rates, accessible instructional programs and high-quality course conditions.

"Frankly, every week is about customer appreciation for Billy Casper Golf and the Forest Preserve system," says BCG Senior Vice President Bill Rehanek. "Our practices set Billy Casper Golf apart from other course operators, and we are happy to commemorate our 'customer-first' approach with value-laden offerings for area golfers."

For $19.99, golfers can either walk or ride at Highland Woods or FPG's flagship layout, the Golf Digest-rated 4.5-star George Dunne National. Greens fees at popular Indian Boundary are $14.99 and includes use of a golf cart. The rest of the FPG courses are $9.99 to play per round.

To promote the game and enhance players' enjoyment of golf, FPG offers comprehensive golfer development programs throughout the year. Junior clinics, free instruction, the famed "Women in Golf" program and an array of other initiatives offered by the Cook County owned courses make golf more accessible to the community.

In addition to programs golfers can join, BCG provides considerable training to golf-course staff to ensure exemplary customer service. No detail is too small as courses work to provide everything from the cleanest golf carts possible to consistently favorable course conditions to proactive and responsive service in golf shops.

FPG also conducts an array of golf events every season, including social outings such as Nite Golf events and the Polar Bear Open, as well as competitive tournaments like Men's and Women's club championship and the North Side and South Side Opens.

This fall is no exception - several courses conduct Turkey Shoot events and there is also FPG's very popular, end-of-season Tent Sale. More information on these upcoming events is found at www.forestpreservegolf.com.

"FPG is one of the largest golf systems in the country, and we work EXTREMELY hard to develop events and programs for our very diverse population of players," says Rehanek. "Beyond developing these golf initiatives, we also regularly communicate with our customers about how they can take advantage of all our offerings throughout the season."
